Distinguished Librarian Award

The nomination period for the 2009 Distinguished Librarian Award has ended.

This annual award recognizes a librarian whose contributions advance the mission of the Libraries and the University in the areas of teaching, learning, research, and innovative approaches to practice. 

Librarians at UW Seattle, Bothell/Cascadia, Tacoma, and the M.G. Gallagher Law Library are eligible.

Nominations

The Selection Committee for the 2009 Distinguished Librarian Award is calling for nominations. The nomination application includes:

  • Your name and email
  • The nominee's name
  • A brief letter (no more than 1 or 2 pages) describing the nominee's accomplishments and how he or she contributes to the Libraries and to the University. A copy of this letter will go to the nominated librarian.

The award will be announced in the spring.
